  There is a common saying that “Education is secret key of human success and the root of education lies in the competitions”. A child is born without any knowledge and skills. To build it, they have to continuously participate in competitions in every part of the life so that they can develop skills and knowledge through a learning process. The purpose of conducting Quiz Competition is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of learnt concepts. Quizzes improve or expand one’s knowledge of things, either general or in specific area. Quiz competitions enables students to think out of the box. It’s also a fun to participate in but with a competitive element. It promotes a healthy debate amongst participants in order to learn from each other.

                                          The Quiz competition organized by Department of Computer Science was consisted of 5 groups namely Team A, Team B ,Team C, Team D & Team E. The competition was conducting in 4 rounds. In round 1, five questions were asked to each team and options were also given. Team A and Team E leaded in round 1. Round 2 was rapid fire round in which 2 minutes time duration was given to each team in which they had to answer as many questions as they can. Team E leaded round 2. Round 3 was visual round in which an image was to be shown on the screen and the team has to recognize the image as well answer a question based on that image. Round 4 was bollywood round in which cropped images of actor/actress was shown on the screen and the team has to guess the correct actor/actress. After the completion of round 4, team E won the quiz competition.

Certificates were distributed to the wining team members.
